The Business Education Foundation (BEF), founded in 1991, is a non-profit made up of local businesses and community members dedicated to the mission of supporting Bristol Public Schools’ mission to teach and learn with passion and purpose.
The Business Education Foundation is a collaboration between the Bristol Board of Education and the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce. The Foundation funds, promotes, and supports educational endeavors aimed at improving learning, achievement, skill development, creativity and excellence in teaching.
The Business Education Foundation recognizes the importance of quality schools and provides a way to improve the quality of public school education in Bristol. The BEF funds innovative projects, through private donations and grants, that City and public funding sources may be unable to support.
